  2. In another pan, add 1 tbsp butter and 1/2 tsp Olive oil. Add in the chopped garlic, red chilli flakes. Cook till raw smell of garlic fades.
  3. Add in the all purpose flour and mix it thoroughly. Add in little by little milk and keep mixing rigorously to avoid any clumps. The sauce should be smooth and runny.
  4. Add in the chopped peppers (any other vegetables if using) and cook for 2-3 mins.
  5. Add in the cooked pasta along with half cup of the saved water. Add in the black pepper powder along with mixed herbs.
  6. Add in the chopped spinach and mix everything thoroughly so that the sauce is uniformly coated.
  7. Adjust the consistency of the sauce as needed. Add in the cheese and mix in.
  8. Put off the heat and let it sit covered for another 5 mins, till the cheese melts.
  9. Can be served along with a toast.
