  5. Prepare 1/4 teaspoon Dashi Powder
  6. Take Sesame Oil

O-nigiri (お握り or 御握り; おにぎり), also known as o-musubi (お結び; おむすび), nigirimeshi (握り飯; にぎりめし), rice ball, is a Japanese food made from white rice formed into triangular or cylindrical shapes and often wrapped in nori (seaweed). Onigiri that is grilled on a wire grill until crispy, then brushed with soy sauce or miso. Yaki onigiri are best served hot, though they can be chewy yet tasty bento additions. Yaki onigiri usually do not have.

Steps to make Grilled 'Onigiri':
  1. In a small bowl, mix Soy Sauce, Mirin and Dashi Powder.
  2. If cooked rice is cold, warm up using microwave. It is difficult to make it into balls when cold.
  3. Add the sauce mixture and Sesame Seeds to warm rice and mix to combine well.
  4. Wash your hands thoroughly before making 'Onigiri', however sometimes it is safe and easy to use plastic food wrap.
  5. Line a baking tray with aluminium foil and brush lightly with Sesame Oil. Place 'Onigiri' on the foil and grill until golden and crunchy.
