In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. My husband and I really liked this dish. The only thing I did different was that I marinated the chicken in the teriyaki sauce for several hours. Then after browning the chicken, I mixed the remaining teriyaki sauce with the ranch and spooned the mixture over the chicken.

Steps to make Anniversary Chicken:
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. I use a package of boneless skinless chicken breast, but use however many you want to. *If they are thick make sure to cut them in half so they'll cook faster.
  3. In a baking dish pour some teriyaki sauce and place chicken in. Pour a little more sauce over chicken and keep turning/moving the chicken around to completely coat with teriyaki.
  4. Next, pour ranch dressing over chicken in a zigzag motion. Don't completely soak it but make sure every bite gets some for flavor.
  5. Sprinkle bacon bits over chicken.
  6. Add the shredded cheese. If you don't want to use colby-jack you can use whatever kind you want.
  7. Lastly add scallions if desired.
  8. Cook for 30-35 minutes at 400°F or until chicken is done. Enjoy!
